This Project Management Course will address the difficulties of organising and coordinating the every-day-work efficiently. It will focus on the reflection of the own role, the ability to organise and motivate oneself, setting priorities and making efficient use of the time available over the long distance of the PhD process. Working on a PhD thesis is usually the biggest challenge that project candidates have been confronted with so far in their career. This process usually takes a few years to complete and in most cases continuous progress is hard to track and supervise. Successful handling of tasks can be very challenging especially for candidates working as research associates at the university. It is not only about mastering the PhD project, but also about coping with challenges in teaching and those which come along with research projects.
