ESR5 – Alternate Means to Communicate Measure

Speckle Streams is the third iteration in the speckle family, and was developed according to a much more flexible and mature application architecture.

Specifically, it consists of three main parts, each working in unison. The first is the interface linking the architectural parametric modelling software to the online platform. The second consists of a series of back-end systems linked together, whose main purposes are that of data storage and event distribution (database, REST api, authentication, etc.). The third consists of the front-end interface that allows users to interact with the models online (by querying the backend API).
