The research aspires to establish a greater role for simulation in concrete design and building technology, to make it an intrinsic and deeply integrated tool that mediates the design between technological stages. The impetus for this study derives from the reassessment of the very basic principals of concrete composition that is focused on detection of its so far neglected potentials.
